Dr Gene Baillie is a retired physician who practiced pathology in Anderson, SC for over 35 years. His wife Gini died of brain cancer called glioblastoma in 2015. They raised 3 daughters and then bought this beautiful Williamsburg style house on 7 acres when they added 4 foster sons (brothers) to their family. The house has many special features, most of which are outlined in the photographs and video.
Although Gene does not have to move, he has decided to put his unique, one of a kind house on the market to allow another family to enjoy this peaceful home and its surrounding woods. The acreage is in the county adjacent to the city boundary, giving the feeling of being completely in the country, while quite close to all needs. The property is located close to the AnMed North Campus on Greenville Street. Greenville is 25 minutes away via I-85, and the GSP airport is 45 minutes. Anderson is conveniently located halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte, each less than 2 hours drive.
Because the house is in the county, the taxes are lower on the house and property as well as on any vehicles or boats you own.
